I have been wanting to try a project like this for awhile and we finally did it! I sent my daughter outside to search and gather a couple strong, but not too big, sticks and I grabbed the rest of the materials.
We used:
A stick
Colored string
Beads
Scissors
I let my 3 year old daughter be the lead here, so she chose the colors and helped wrap them around the stick but I did have to help a bit. I tied the next color on to the previous color of string and we kept wrapping. Then we tied a handful of strings hanging down to decorate with beads. We also found a few Frozen cut outs that already had holes in them in one of their books. My daughters love Frozen and insisted they be tied on the the bottom of the strings. They were very excited with the outcome and have it proudly hanging in their room. We love a good collaboration project!
